Reds
Jarhead Red- a velvety, full-bodied Cabernet blend bottled in a Non-Profit effort by US Marines. It was aged in French oak barrels for eight months, offering deep flavors of plum, cassis and black currant with fine tannins on the finish. Excellent to complement cheeses, lighter meats, or conversation.
Steele Shooting Star Syrah- This wine has aromas of baked boysenberry, butter, and smoky baking spices. Cedar tones with just a hint of peppered black plum make the finish a wonderful explanation point.
Chateau St Jean Pinot Noir- Lovely aromas of raspberries, black plums, rose petals, cola and mocha welcome you in the glass of the Pinot. On the palette, this wine reasonably full, velvety and satisfying with a remarkably balanced texture.
Hahn Meritage- This rich "claret,” blend has been the most popular medium-red at RWB for 2 years. Mouth-filling layers of fresh, ultra ripe berry fruit fill the palate, with ample acidity – better than most central coast offerings over $50.
Louis Latour Marsannay- With a striking garnet robe this wine brings forth freshly picked red and black berry aromas; blackberry, blackcurrant, raspberry. It shows the beautiful nature of Pinot Noir. The palate also echoes more spicy flavors of licorice.
Mount Veeder Cabernet- Full and supple, with luscious tannins. A bold structure with appealing texture is balanced by delectable flavors of blackberry, cocoa and cedar, leading to a long, rich finish.
Robert Stemmler- A bouquet filled with an array of wild raspberries, strawberry, rhubarb, cherry, baking spice, clove, and cinnamon. Lively yet rich tannins embrace flavors of fresh red berries nuanced by sage and finishing with mineralality.
