Reds

Nathanson Creek Merlot- Dark plum, blackberry and raspberry with a faint suggestion of brambles, eucalyptus and rising bread dough. Slightly spicy/peppery raspberry with a baked sugar-plum fruit presence. Medium-bodied and accented by a sweet spiciness/white pepper.

Papio Cabernet- Like good jazz, Papio Cabernet Sauvignon is smooth and expressive. The vibrant, fruity aromas and velvety flavors brim with ripe blackberry, black cherry and plum character. Provocative notes of vanilla linger on the fruity finish, inviting another sip. Bold enough to take on a barbecued steak.

Montpelier Pinot Noir - This warm, medium-bodied red has lush, stewed cherry fruit as pinot noirs go.  A bit of lively acidity gives the wine some zest and balances the fruit. Tannins are moderate, and a hint of herbal complexity enhances the finish.

E-minor Shiraz  Exhibits rich aromas of cherries and plums, hot baking spices and scrapings of pepper, along with some beautifully integrated oak. The baked jammy berries, richness of chocolaty oak, and the complex spice profiles of clove, and nutmeg and dark pepper make for an impressive palate.

Rancho Zabaco Zinfandel- An enjoyable smoky nose, with cherry, blackberry, walnut and spice.  More fruity than spicy, but it’s not too sweet.  The finish is full of roasted nuts, berries and a hint of chocolate.

Vina Robles Petite Sirah- Deep purple-black with intense aromas of blueberry and plum as well as chocolate powder, complimented by vanilla and toasty oak. This full-bodied wine shows ripe, firm tannins; blackberry, plum and blueberry fruit with a touch of bittersweet chocolate, with a long pleasant finish.

Tilia Malbec-Syrah Shows a bright purple color with violet highlights. The nose wafts fleshy black cherry aromas with light earth notes and a touch of roasted coffee. The mouthfeel is full, with fresh fruit flavors, a touch of chocolate and sweet spice from light oak aging.

Tomaresca Cabernet Blend – Almost chewy with stewed ripe berry notes, cassis, molasses, roasted flowers and earth serve as a preface for the thick texture and smooth density that this wine delivers to the palate.  The wine is thick and succulent with smooth tannins and great length.
