With over 15 years of experience producing music and events, André C. Vener has the ability to bring people, places and great ideas together to create magic. In addition to heading up Pasadena Entertainment, André is Owner of the acclaimed restaurant, wine bar and jazz club redwhite+bluezz.  André created both of these ventures with Robert and Denise Zeilstra.  He is also the Executive Producer of OMI Records and Vice President of Vener Music.

Prior to his current ventures, he served as President and CEO of the California Philharmonic for over a decade, shepherding a fledgling orchestra to regional prominence and bringing live music to hundreds of thousands of music lovers. He has produced more than 100 large-scale events in locations in both the United States and Europe. Some of the venues he has produced events at include The Rose Bowl, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Los Angeles County Arboretum, The Ambassador Auditorium, Pasadena Civic Auditorium, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, multiple California Fairgrounds and the world famous Amsterdam Concertgebouw in Holland.

Noted for his community involvement, André was voted Citizen of the Year for 2009 by the citizens of Pasadena, in the Pasadena Weekly. He has produced over 75 fundraisers for over thirty area non-profits, including the annual Old Pasadena Wine and Jazz Walk. Another recent large-scale community event was the first-ever Freedom Concert, held to celebrate our nation’s military and first-responders, with over 25 different musical acts, as well as speeches and awards featuring dignitaries and celebrities. His most recent events include the 25th Anniversary Celebration of the Pasadena Weekly at the new Pasadena Convention Center featuring the Spazmatics, the 13th Season of the California Philharmonic at both the LA County Arboretum and Walt Disney Concert Hall and the soccer match between World Champions FC Barcelona and the LA Galaxy with David Beckham, held at The Rose Bowl before a crowd of 93,000.

Mr. Vener has a BA in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and Marketing from San Francisco State University and an EMBA from the Masatoshi Ito and Peter F. Drucker School of Business at Claremont Graduate University.
